Dramatic Baroque forms meet the volcanic terrain of Mount Etna, intricate Sicilian tilework, and the Mediterranean Sea surrounding the island. Sculpted sails and waves evoke Sicily’s maritime history, while seashells and seafood forms reflect a culture shaped by the coast. Pistachios, among the island’s most distinctive ingredients, connect the composition to Yolan’s current exploration of Sicilia.
